On Air Live Roulette is the second live dealer game On Air Entertainment has launched. It follows the very successful Live Blackjack which went live in November 2021.
On Air Live Roulette is the European version of the game, played with a single zero.
There are two language options, English and Russian.
In this review I’ll show you how and where to play, the features of On Air Roulette and there’s a video review, where you’ll see me demonstrate the game and play a few game rounds.

Playing On Air Roulette couldn’t be easier, and having an understanding of the classic bets types will help you enjoy the game a bit more.

The wheel contains thirty-seven numbers, 0 to 36. The even numbers are coloured Red while the odd Numbers are coloured Blackjack. The one exception is the Xero, which is coloured Green.
This type of wheel is known as a European Wheel, whereas a wheel with a Zero and Double-Zero is known as an American Wheel.
The purpose of Roulette is to bet on a number or combination of numbers and hope that when the wheel has completed spinning the ball will drop into one of the numbered pockets you have placed a bet on. The more numbers you bet on the greater chance you have of winning.
Not all bets are created equal – the bet types that have a greater chance of winning, known as outside bets, have a lower payout than inside bets, which are more difficult to predict.
In On Air Roulette there are a number of ways bets can be placed and I go through those next.

Many strategies have been written for playing Roulette. Most are playing strategies – not winning strategies. The objective of a playing strategy is to keep your bankroll for as long as possible while maintaining the chance that you might pick up a win or two along the way.
These strategies are often referred to as Progression Strategies, where you’re increasing or decreasing your bet, depending on the result that has just happened. Popular ones are the Martingale Strategy and the Fibonacci – both of which you can read more about here.
My favoured strategy is to bet on sectors of the wheel using the Frech bets or the neighbour bet.
This alongside my favourite numbers, birthdays etc, generally gives me good coverage over the wheel.
The other option is the 50-50 strategy, where you’re just placing even money bets. You can hedge bets this way, by betting on say Red and also on Even. You have two outcomes covered. You either lose both, win both or win one and lose one, therefore breaking even. It’s a slow way of building a balance, but with 2 chances out of three, you should win more than you lose.
On Air Entertainment has produced a good starting version of live roulette.
The playing interface does everything it needs to and the mobile interface, in both Landscape and Portrait modes works very well.
I particularly like the view of the ball spinning in the wheel as you get to see the whole of the number track for the entire spin.
In my opinion, a few functions are missing, like the ability to Autoplay and set up favourite bets without needing to place a bet first.
The streaming issues I experienced during the video review seem to have been resolved and were perhaps temporary while the game was being launched.
If you want a straightforward game, this version is as good as any.
On Air Roulette is streamed from the main studio in Riga, Latvia.

Using a playing strategy is the best way to ensure your bankroll lasts a long time. There is no guarantee you’ll end up winning, but you’ll have a longer playing session than just by placing random bets on the table.
