Evolution Stock Market Live is an elaborate coin toss gamble, presented as a sophisticated stock trading simulation game with fast-paced rounds.
Players predict whether a trading session will end above or below a starting stock value.
The game includes live tracking of stock values generated by an RNG and the facility to automatically re-bet for faster play; if you get a bet wrong, you’ll only lose part of your bet, and you can let your portfolio ride before cashing out for a 1% commission.
Unlike a crash game, you cannot cash out during a bet. The trade must be completed before you take your profit or loss, which ranges between +-0.01 and 2x.
The game comes with a 99% RTP – the 1% is the commission.

There are Four Game variants of Stock Market Live; the one you see and play is based on your Jurisdiction. The version you play today might be slightly different tomorrow if the local licensing authority decides to make a change – which has happened recently with the game version shown in the UK. It went from Variant 1 to Variant 2.

In this review, I’m covering Variant 1, which contains all the options. If you’re playing one of the others, the most important differences are the Cash Out Out, which occurs after each trade, and the lack of Automatic re-wagering.
Here’s a quick rundown of the Stock Market Live game by Evolution.
The game has two phases: Betting Time and the Trading Phase. During betting time, you have a few options besides placing a bet, which I’ll cover further down.
But the first part of the game is to place your initial bet.
Remember, the game’s objective is to correctly predict how the stock value will go during the Trading session. It’s either Up or Down.
Your Portfolio is an interim store for your bet and previous wins and losses. If your Portfolio is empty, your bet is taken from your main balance and moved into your Portfolio. Otherwise, your bet is the total of your Portfolio balance.
The money in the Portfolio is at risk each game round unless you Cash Out when it’s returned to your main balance. A 1% fee is taken every time you do this.
During betting time, you can:
Betting time lasts about 15 seconds.
If money is in your portfolio, all the contents are automatically placed as a bet on the last betting position you selected.
You can switch the betting position by tapping on the opposite bet spot. Tapping on the same bet spot will add more money from your balance to the bet.
If there is no money in your Portfolio, you place a bet on Up or Down from your main balance. The money appears in your Portfolio.
If you don’t want to place a bet use the Cash Out button to bank the money from your Portfilio to your main balanace. A 1% fee is taken when you do this.
When Betting Time closes the Trading session begins.
The Trading session is where the game decides whether the “Stock” will increase or decrease in value from a starting point of Zero.
The increases and decreases are represented in percentage points between -100% and + 100%.
The Stock value tracks as a line from left to right on the screen and goes through ups and downs until it reaches the trading period end line when the value of the stock is locked in.
During the trade, you can see the value of your Portfolio rise and fall, but it’s only at the end of the trading period that you find out the value of the stock and whether you predicted the outcome of Up or Down correctly.
Your Win or Loss is calculated from the Stock value change in percentage terms.
Cashing out is probably one of the most important things you’ll do during the game.
Remember, this is a gambling game; it’s not a stock trading game.
Every bet you place is at risk of the Stock value going up or down, which an RNG engine decides. No market forces or information/knowledge you have will influence the outcome. It’s a 50-50 bet, unlike actual stock trading.
The only benefit in leaving profits in your portfolio is saving the 1% commission when you withdraw.
You can only Cash Out during Betting Time by hitting the Cash Out Button. When you do this, the funds are transferred to your balance minus 1% commission.
Let’s start with some home truths.
This is a gambling game, not a Stock Market trading game. There are no real stocks and no tracking of the rise and fall of the stock market.
The marketing would have you believe the thrill of the game is the same that investment managers in stocks and crypto experience when they trade.
The reality is it’s nothing like it. Real trading involves lots of research, watching the movement of markets and timing your buys/sells.
The Evolution Stock Market game provides none of this, maybe just the thrill of winning and the disappointment of when you lose.
So, where does this leave you with a playing strategy? Well, here are some tips that should help.
While money is in your Portfolio, the game will bet the whole amount on the last bet spot until the portfolio is empty.
The only way to stop this Auto play is to Cash Out from your Portfolio after every game round. Then, you can make your next bet in your timeframe.
Stock Market Live holds information on the last 30 trades, showing whether the stock went up or down and by how much.
You’ve got three ways to view the results trackers and trading statistics.
The statistics act similarly to Baccarat Roadmaps, but as this game is played against a computer using an RNG engine, it’s difficult to predict the next trade correctly. You have a 50-50 chance of being right or wrong!
The payouts in Stock Market Live are range-based, meaning that if you get the result correct, you can win between 0.01 to 2x your bet.
Get the result incorrect and you’ll lose between 0.01 – 2x your bet.
For every 1% increase in the Stock you’ll win 1% of your bet amount. The same is true if you lose, 1% of your bet will be lost for every 1% of the stock direct you got wrong.
The RTP for Evolution Stock Market live is 99%.
This is an RNG game, not a live game.
But you get to make a playing choice – so it’s a bit like an RNG table game such as Dragon Tiger or Baccarat, where you bet on one of two sides.
Instead of using cards, it’s whether you think the market trade for a fictional stock will rise or fall during the trading period. You can win or lose a percentage of your bet between 0.01x and 2x every trade.
You’re profits & losses remain in a Portfolio until you cash out. Each trade uses the entire contents of your Portfolio, so you are putting that at risk each game round. It’s a clever feature by Evolution that taps into players’ lust for risk/reward.
The playing interface is excellent, and I think this game could have been made a little more sophisticated if past results history were included. This would allow players to immerse themselves a bit in the world of trading even if the information played no direct role in future results – the illusion would be enough.
The feature for winning/losing a percentage is clever, as even when you lose, it’s not everything, so you can keep going and try to build your bankroll back. But as RNG controls the results, it’s a coin toss if you win.
Although it has a 99% RTP, it’s a slow, low-paying game with a max payout of 2x your bet and is not a game I enjoy playing.
But, each to their own. Try it and see what you think.
